Hi friends, I am Jon Unal, founder of Conscious Beginnings, a company that supports organisations with corporate wellbeing, emotional intelligence, mindset, and engagement through evidence based mindfulness training. I work as a mindfulness & mindset coach and a corporate trainer.

Over the years, I supported hundreds of clients and companies to achieve their visions and aspirations by becoming more self-aware, resilient, confident and courageous.

The beginning of my mindfulness practice in 2006 has been a turning point from living a stressful life battling with depression to creating a life of joy, meaning and ongoing growth.

I have been on personal development journey since then: completing graduate qualifications in applied psychotherapy and counselling, training in various modalities such as ACT, mindfulness and neuroscience. I also hold a master’s degree in economics.

Conscious Beginnings team have developed and implemented a wide range of mindfulness and corporate wellbeing programs for some of the leading organisations including Australian Counselling Association, BHP, Credit Union Australia, Sanofi, QSuper, Queensland Health, Queensland Police Service, Rio Tinto and Toyota Australia.

Who is this course suitable for?
This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate mindfulness practitioners. You just need to be ready to implement mindfulness into your daily life and have a commitment to daily practice of 10-15 minutes. I am here to support you in your journey with guided meditations and in the forums.
What are the requirements?
Motivation to change your life, a computer or mobile device with an Internet connection is all that's necessary to take this course. You don't need any prior knowledge of mindfulness or meditation. Change takes time and commitment. I am here to support you and I expect that you also take responsibility for your own change and do the practices.
How much time do I need to complete the course?
Each week, you will have access to videos and guided meditations (30 minutes per week). We also encourage you to establish a daily practice of 10 to 15 minutes every day as well as informal practices.
What if I don't have time to meditate?
The course is designed to fit in a busy schedule. Mindfulness will help you become more productive and efficient so you will create more time in your life!
